The Alpine Cyclone Pump has a evergy saving split tube motor with a vortex impeller. It can be used vertical or horizontal and can operate in or out of the water. Has water resistant ceramic bearings for continuous use and an oil free, magnetic driven ceramic shaft with a asynchronous motor.

	So far so good.
	Had this pump for about a month. Its going good so far. I would have expected a bit more flow for a 6500GPH pump, but this servers my purpose. On the plus side, this pump is really quiet. Its hard to hear it running even when you are standing near it.

	Needs a little oomph!
	Only been using it a short time, but it was easy to install and is very quiet. Although it is rated at 6550 gph, it doesn't seam to pump at that volume at all. It's plumbed with 1 1/2" ID flex hose with a total head of about 4ft and it pumps about the same volume as my 3800 gph pump. Overall I'm happy with the size and construction, but was expecting a little more oomph.
