| The Oase Biotec automated Screenematic Filter that catches and disposes of debris larger thatn 300 microns. The water then flow through an oxygen-enriching mat, the coarse and fine filter zones, from where it then reaches the secondary chamber.
The nitrosomonas and nitrobacter bacteria present in the pond water multiply in the oxygen-rich zone (blue filters) and in the low-oxygen zones (red filters and secondary chamber). Harmful nitrites are converted to nitrates and finally to gaseous nitrogen. The secondary chamber just ahead of the outlet can be loaded with filter material of choice or as the particular environment requires.
A flow regulator located just above the water distributor allows manual adjustment of the flow rate as well as the flow speed of the water flowing across the Screenex.
The Screenex can be titled upwards for easy access to the filter foams.
An electronic indicator will show if cleaning is necessary.
