Oase Pondovac 4 Pond Vacuum

Your Price:$349.00

Part Number:50409
The new Pondovac 4 has a 20% more powerful motor then the pondovac 3.  It avoids the annoyance of container capacity restrictions, allowing the pond to be vacuumed constantly. The Pondovac 4 can be used for your pond, pool, swim pond and even as a wet vac.

The Two -Chamber System
Two identically sized cylinders are filled and emptied in alternating cycles. When one container is full a valve is mechanically activated by a float, triggering the alternate container to empty while at the same time allowing the other cylinder to be filled.

The new Pondovac 4 is easily moved (built in wheels) and includes aluminium suction tubes, a transparent suction tube, special string algae nozzle, widened universal nozzle, area nozzle with rollers and integrated brush, wet vacuum brush, brush nozzle for corners and stubborn debris and a debris collection bag.
Great for cleaning out Waterfall Filters without a back flush.

Works Like a Charm and Gets the Job Done Fast
We purchased the Ponodvac 4 to clean out our swimming pool which had become more like a very nice, successful pond but we wanted it to once again be a swimming pool. The Pondovac did an excellent job of sucking out the muck and leaves from the bottom of the pool. It worked consistently and the suction stayed strong even at the deepest depth of 8 feet. Every once in a while the hose or opening and exit holes would clog but the clogs were easily removed thanks to the simple structure of the Pondovac. All we had to do to unclog anything was take the lid off, remove the debris, and replace the lid. Overall this is a great product, with very useful attachments and it lives up to its reputation. I highly recommend this for both ponds and swimming pools.

A real time saver
Great no to have to stop and start with a single tank. The automatic switch over is a great time saver. Works good with just one issue. I had it lose suction and couldn't get it to work. Called for tech and was refered to the manufacturer. They handled the problem and within minutes had the problem resolved. Wish the drain tube was longer but I can build and extension.

Pond Owner
We used the Oase 4 Pond Vac and found it to be very efficient. My pond is a 13'x26' converted swimming pool with a max depth of 5.5' in the center. The height of the uphill drag was a little challenging, but the machine did vacuum the sludge out nicely. In the midst of the work, I discovered my catfish had babies and they were a most enjoyable surprise to find dashing in and around the rocks ! Very sturdy machine and definitely worth the money !

Dr.
Oase Pondovac 4 Pond Vacuum - I have a 3000 gallon pond with a depth of approximately 3 feet. Having neglected caring for the pond for about three years, hardly lily roots expended 5 feet beyond their containers, and there was a 6" layer of crud on the bottom. The vacuum cleaner did the job. I spent about 4 hours getting rid of most of the debris. I had to stop to clean out the cleaner about a half dozen times - either debris got caught at either end of the intake tube or on at the entry to the outtake tube or somewhere along it. The outtake tube twice came out of the vacuum cleaner. I first tried to recycle the water back into the pond but the bag to stop the debris from recycling either filled up quickly or came off the end of the outtake tube and therefore I began using the debris and water to fertilize yard plants. I probably removed about a quarter of the water in the pond. Because much of the remaining debris got disturbed, I was unable to see the bottom for about 10 days. Once the pond cleared sufficiently, I used the vacuum again and with an hour had cleaned out almost all remaining debris. Without the vacuum cleaner, I could not have done it, even getting into the pond with a scoop would not have been nearly as efficient - I tried it at the end of last year! So I give the vacuum cleaner top marks; it was well worth the money. I have one complaint. I would have liked a longer outtake hose because it would have allowed me to fertilize plants further away from the pond. However, the engineers may have tried longer hoses and thought that the decreased efficiency was not worth it.

Strong Vac
Pump broke on 3 week vacation--so green funky pond. Ordered vac. It has VERY strong suction & got rid of sediment on bottom of pond. On "sludge" tool,I had 1 poor fish get processed, but overall it was worth it. The pond cleared a lot. I hoped for a better filter for recirculating water for dry times. It takes in "big" debris, but small stuff goes right back in. Seals/rubber flap get sucked in occasionally so they need to be pulled out. Some tweaking+new filter put pond back right in 2-3 wks.

One minor complaint
Powerful and extremely efficient. Our only complaint is with the shortness of the discharge tubing and the friction-only connection of it to the machine. Great care is required to have the tube precisely positioned on the ground so as to prevent a disconnect of the tube when the vac discharges. A ring clamp should be included.

Don't Wait---Order this!!!
I never was really satisfied with the waterfall ponds that I had because I was always fighting the unclear waters. I tried all kinds of cleaners for my ponds including even using the barley straw. After buying and using the Oase Pondovac 4, I am so excited because I can see all the fish so clearly now. I am serious when I said that you also will be amazed at the difference it makes!!!Worth it!!
