The Matala Pond EZ-Bio 11 Plus Pre-Filter is a pre-filter that prevents flow reduction due to clogging. It uses the green coarse density which is more suitable as a prefilter to a submersible pump like the Danner/Pondmaster Mag-Drive Pumps.This helps extend the pump's life by reducing pump stress and damage. It also offers additional mechanical and biological filtration preventing pump damage and flow reduction due to debris and clogs. The EZ-Bio 11 Plus also comes with 3 connectors called "Magic Adapters". The standard multi-barb adapter is also included. The Magic Adapter is designed to connect the EZ-Bio 11 Plus easily to all sizes of the Danner/Pondmaster Mag-Drive pumps. The Max Flow Rate for the EZ Bio 11 Plus is 5600 GPH.
