Pondmaster Mag Drive 9.5 Pump - 975 GPH

Thanks for sending me the Pondmaster 9.5. It was shipped on time and actually arrived a day early. I installed it right away and I was surprised at how such a small and lightweight pump could deliver so much power. I guess pond pump technology has improved a lot. This pump replace one that was four times the size and weight and delivers almost double the water flow as the old one.. My pond is a three tiered pond with about 600 gallons and about 20 inches of head pressure. I had previously installed a second pump to use as a "bubbler" to aerate the water for the fish but after installing my new Pond Master, I removed the second pump to save on electricity as my new pump was providing plenty of aeration through the two water falls.

We put in a partial model number of our 9 year old pond pump (as much as we could see left) and immediately located the right pump. It was shipped quickly and we received it in good order and installed without one issue. Thanks so much for the superb service and great search feature on your website!!

I received this pump amazing fast. I installed it to replace another pump that had failed and the performance of the new pump is FAR better than the previous one. In our small pond with 30" tall crock this pump provides a spout of water more than six inches tall through a 5/8" tube and eliminates the need for another smaller pump to provide the full around spill over the top of the crock. Excellent product and excellent price.

This is my second Mag Drive 9.5 Pump. I was so happy with the performance of the first pump in a three level 'bird' pond (purchased a year ago) that it was a no brainer choice when I resurrected my overgrown water lily pond. Customer service at Aquatic Ponds has been excellent. I rarely respond to review requests, but this company deserves a thumbs up. (5 stars)

Expert analysis and great customer service. The pump arrived on time and was a breeze to install. Perfect for small ponds with a 3' vertical pipe with a 8" fountain of water atop. Highly recommend a butterfly valve to control the desired fountain flow.
