Description

The Savio UVinex Stainless Steel Clarifiers are the newest design only for Savio Skimmerfilters and Compact Skimmerfilters. Coated bulb technology is virtually maintenance free with no glass sleeves. Just wipe clean with a damp cloth to restore full effectiveness.The new stainless steel design now comes with a 4 pin bulb.

Note: You can use only one UV (18 Watt or High Output 28 Watt) in the Compact Savio Skimmerfilter

Warning: Do NOT lift the UVinex by the bulb when taking out of the package.

They work great for one year then the bulb goes out. the bulb replacement is expensive. The UV light unit is expensive. I currently have 4 in my pond and I have to replace one light unit and all 4 bulbs bulbs every year. I don't think I have any other choice.

At first I thought the clarifier didn't work because the red light was showing on the transformer. After taking the bulb out of the fitting and putting it back in (which needed a little force) it made contact and the light turned green. Still working and the pond water is clear.

Product works great. I have a 2,400 gal pond in direct sunlight, but with lots of plant cover. All summer I had trouble with water clarity and algae. I did not know the transformer for my UV light burned out. After I replaced it with the improved stainless steel clarifier, water cleared up in less than a week.

Savio UV

Installation was fast and easy and once installed the pond water went from a algae bloom state to crystal clear in less than three days. Wonderful results so far. Hoping that it works for as long as advertised.
