The ShinMaywa Norus submersible pump is one of the most reliable and durable pumps sold in today's water garden market. Note: This pump needs to be submerged at all times or warranty will be voided. You may consider a low water cut off for the ShinMaywa Pump. The ShinMaywa Pump can be used in a horizontal position. What no one will tell you is that this manufacturer recommends that the lubricating oil be replaced every 6 to 12 months. My last ShinMaywa pump lasted less than two years because I didn't know that.

Great Pump

This ShinMaywa pump was very easy to install and is very quiet. It certainly has all the capacity I need to keep my pond clean and clear. Once ordered I had it within just a few days.

Replacement pump

This pump is my second ShinMaywa. The first one lasted three years with continuous running from May to October. We remove the pump from the pond in the winter. After speaking with ShinMaywa, who was very willing to help diagnose the problem with the first pump, I had the option of repairing the first pump by going to a machine shop and having the windings tested and if still good, order a new mechanical seal from ShinMaywa. Then go back to the machine shop and have them install the new seal and oil. However, in the interest of time, I bought a replacement. The pump is working well and I hope to get three years of service from it. Working with Aquatic Ponds has been a great experience. Very helpful and prompt service: my new pump was received and running in two days after ordering. Thank you, Aquatic Ponds and ShinMaywa!

50CR2.15S PUMP

Thank you for the great service. I called 123 Ponds and they told me this pump was not longer made and sent me the one that replaced it, which was not even close and I had to return the pump and they charged $63.00 return fee on a pump that they said was the replacement for the one I needed. This was there mistake not mine. So I was very HAPPY to find an HONEST company Aquatic Ponds. The pump was the original one I needed. I'am VERY happy with the pump and your service. Thank you.

I have tried tsurumi brand, easy pro brand and now this brand. This shinMaywa is a great price but, it is very noisey. A lot more noise than the other two. The Tsurumi brand did last longer than the easy pro brand.

Unit arrive quickly and in good shape. Very easy to install. Hooked up the plumbing and was immediately impressed with the waterflow over the falls. The unit exceeded my hopes for an improved flow and I am pleased with the purchase.

Replacement Pump

I chose the ShinMaywa pump as a replacement for the Cal Pump which shorted out my system after about 12 months of use (1 yr warranty). The ShinMaywa is more expensive, but carries a 2 yr warranty. Delivery was prompt and pump is working well. Time will be the best judge of this pump's reliability.

Good Pump

Quiet operation. This order was a replacement for the pump in my pond which was identical to this pump. Only problem is the last one only lasted 2 years before it stopped working.

Replacement Pump for Water Feature (Water fall pump)

Being a replacement pump, everything went smooth, pipe/hose fitting matched the existing. After installing a moisture proof AC plug (from the previous pump), the pump was installed and working within an hour of receipt. Great service and courteous customer service personnel. Support these people!
