The Thermo-Pond Perfect Climate Submersible Pond De-icer is designed for small and preformed ponds up to 300 gallons and 18 inches or less in depth. Even in sub-zero temperatures, it prevents these ponds from freezing over. As well as helping to allow harmful gases to escape helping the pond fish to survive the winter. It will never burn a pond liner or preformed pond. It comes with a 15' Cord. Inlets allow use with air or water pumps. Approximate dimensions: 9" in Diameter x 2 1/2" high.

When the temperature is just above freezing the Perfect Climate Submersible Pond Heater will turn on. It will turn off again when the water temperature around the heater reaches 45-55 degree.

Works Great!

I live in Santa Fe and night temps are usually in the 20's and teens. I have an outdoor water feature and this keeps the water from not freezing and making glaciers at the base of the stones! I can run the fountains all year long which is most important for all the birds that rely on them! Highly recommend.

Works well

I dropped the submersible heater in the pump box of my pond so I wouldn't have to remove pump for winter. All cords and tubing are buried. It worked real well. Prevented the pump box, and pump, from freezing.
