Aquascape Faux Basalt Columns Set of 5 offer a convenient solution for creating an impressive five-piece fountain that recirculates water. These columns come in five different heights: 18, 24, 30, 36, and 42 inches. What makes them unique is that they are crafted to look like real basalt columns but are actually made from lighter materials, such as fiberglass, resin, and real stone. This combination provides both a realistic appearance and durability for your fountain.
Real basalt columns are notoriously heavy and challenging to work with during installation, not to mention heavy to pick up and ship. However, the faux basalt columns are much lighter, making the installation process quick and hassle-free. Each column has a built-in base, making it easy to secure in place using decorative gravel. Additionally, the set includes tubing and plumbing fittings that can be easily integrated into the top recessed area of the fountain. For added visual appeal, incorporate a color-changing or warm white Fountain Light (sold separately, with product codes #84072 and #84008) to illuminate the flowing water.
These five columns can be a versatile addition to custom fountain projects, and they can be used in combination with the Aquascape AquaBasin® 45 (#78224) and Ultra 2000 Water Pump (#91010) for a straightforward and comprehensive fountain setup. Basin, pump, and tubing are sold separately.
