Evolution Aqua Eazy Pod Automatic Pond Filter

The Evolution UV EazyPo Automatic filtration systems is an all-new, self-cleaning filter that boasts not only mechanical and biological filtration but also automatic cleaning. The EazyPod uses K1 Micro to provide biological filtration even when using it solely as a mechanical waste filter.

Water from the pond enters the EazyPod via the inlet, flows around the optional 18 Watt UV Clarifier (included in the EazyPodUV Automatic),  it then flows around the circumference of the outer chamber and passes through the stainless steel grill. This causes many larger solids to be filtered out and settle in the base of the outer chamber. As the water enters the central chamber, finer solids become trapped in the mass of K1 Micro media. Bio-films build up on the protected surface of the K1 Micro media, allowing biological filtration to take place. The now-clean water rises and overflows into the inner return pipe and flows back into the pond via the outlet.

The EazyPod Automatic filter system includes an integrated control box with an adjustable timer, that you use to plan the cleaning time. The default cleaning time is every 3 days, but it can be adjusted. The electronic controller powers the automated waste valve and it includes an air pump that cleans the K1 Micro media. The air pump agitates the filter media to free up debris and waste that has built up within the filter, which is then ejected from the 1.5" waste valve.

Special Note: The EazyPond Automatic System cannot be used as gravity fed system unless the EazyPod is higher than the level of the pond.
