The Aquascape Aquasurge 2000 Pump has a asynchronous motor which gives a high torque, at a higher head height. These pumps are energy efficient and oil free. Made for continuous use. It has rubber feet that help prevent noise and vibration. The pump can be used vertically or horizontally.

Very pleased with my order! It came quickly and the price was way less than I would have paid elsewhere. I wish now though I would have brought a bigger pump - next time.

Good Pump

I received this pump much quicker than I thought I would receive it. The pump is incredibly quiet and is smaller than the original pump that it replaced for the same gallonage output. So, far it is a great pump.
